Big trip or small getaways? How differently our team plans their vacations.

How much vacation do we actually need – and what’s the best way to plan it?
We asked around the team – and quickly realized: vacation means something different to everyone.

India says: “Especially now in summer, there’s a lot of planning, coordinating, and calendar-checking going on in the team – and you can really tell: everyone has their own personal vacation rhythm.”
She’s definitely on Team “twice a year – but then properly.” Her favorite: longer trips to Southeast Asia to fully unwind and experience new cultures in depth.

Ferdi sees it completely differently: he prefers to spread out his vacation days across the year. “Lots of little breaks instead of one big trip – that way I stay flexible and always have something to look forward to.”

Freya, on the other hand, doesn’t need a long-distance trip to recharge – Hamburg is her happy place. But: her friends are scattered across Europe. That’s why she uses long weekends for personal reunions – like recently in Toulouse or soon in Vienna.
