For more and more people, the quality of life of a region depends significantly on their recreational value. Quality of life is, in addition to the supply of attractive jobs, a decisive criterion for the attractiveness of a location. In this area, the southeast of Lower Saxony has much to offer both citizens and tourists. In order to better position itself in the competition for qualified jobs, the region of southeastern Lower Saxony, under the leadership of Wolfsburg AG, the Braunschweig GmbH project and the economic development agencies of the participating cities and districts, is working together. One result of this “alliance for the region” is the adventure campaign “Shaping things together – ErlebnisRegion 2020”, whose goal is to increase the recreational value of the region for citizens and visitors.
Our task:
Development and implementation of a comprehensive PR concept with the aim of creating a positive climate for the planning of major tourist projects and to get citizens into the boat right from the start. Building blocks of the PR campaign: panel discussions in cooperation with the Braunschweiger Zeitung, student workshops, setting up and content of a new website with various activities such as workshops, an interactive quiz or own TV contributions by the publicly-publicized web TV reporters. Development and placement of advertising motifs, conception and implementation of an image campaign with prominent testimonials from the region as well as complete social media communication via Facebook.
