In 1969, Frank Oppenheimer launched the Science Center movement with the Exploratory San Francisco. The aim was to educate people about modern science, technology and the stimulus to independently deal with these topics. 40 years after the invention of the Science Center opens with the Science Adventure Odysseum Cologne, the first representative of the third generation of interactive worlds of experience.
The Odysseum Cologne is a modern mix of science center, amusement park and research center with scientific aspiration – a huge interactive world of experiences for the whole family. On around 5,500 square meters of experimental space, visitors will become an adventurer and discoverer in seven intricately designed theme worlds. 200 adventure stations for different age groups are dedicated to an interactive and, above all, exciting research journey from the beginnings of mankind through the present to the future. The Science Adventure gets to the bottom of the mystery of life in a tangled jungle. With a view from above from the universe current questions of the globalization are answered. On an oversized computer board, the visitor learns how cyberspace works, and with a research ship he sets sail for a glimpse into the future of humanity. The interactive adventure is the focus here: Touching, experiencing, even designing and participating are expressly desired.
Since April 2008 launch of the Odysseum in the market with conception and implementation of all PR measures as well as advice on brand development. Accompanying PR work after the opening in April 2009.
