Zoo Emmen

On 19 hectares, Globetrotter awaits in the Emmen Zoo a fascinating world full of exotic impressions, wild animals and foreign habitats – or the flora and fauna of the local forests. The Emmen Zoo is thematically divided into different continents. At the same time, those responsible took particular care to ensure that the animals live together in a natural environment with their conspecifics in extensive areas. Fences are almost non-existent – visitors are separated from the zoo dwellers by ditches.
