Groningen is the metropolis and region in the north of the Netherlands and was voted Europe’s most liveable city in an EU study in the summer of 2007. The country’s youngest city has more than 180,000 inhabitants, more than half of whom are younger than 35 years old. And these provide a unique, vibrant cityscape.
