Hy2gen – Green Hydrogen

Green hydrogen and ammonia for steel, chemicals and the energy system: since 2021 we have supported Hy2gen with international media relations in Germany, France, Norway and Canada. The company develops, builds and operates plants that turn renewable electricity into hydrogen and its derivatives, where batteries are not the answer.

For passenger cars the question is settled: battery-electric wins. For energy-intensive industry it is not. Steel and aluminium works, fertiliser and chemical production need hydrogen as a feedstock and energy carrier, and the power system needs it as storage that holds surplus wind and solar for weeks. Hy2gen fills exactly this gap: as a project developer producing green hydrogen and green ammonia where renewable electricity is cheap and abundant.

Our role

We recognised the potential of green hydrogen early and have supported Hy2gen AG since mid-2021 with international PR, above all in the core markets of Germany, France, Norway and Canada. We work with a network of partner agencies and specialist journalists who know the hydrogen market. The goal, in PR and on LinkedIn, is to position Hy2gen’s management as thought leaders for the energy transition and green hydrogen.

Between hype and obituary

Few energy topics are debated as contradictorily. Our job is to make the reality of a project developer understandable without glossing over it: what is technically solved, what depends on regulation, grid connection and subsidies, and which projects are economically viable. That builds trust with investors, industrial partners and policymakers.
