Parmesan meets fish: a unique evening with Parmigiano Reggiano

Last night in Hamburg, the rain once again poured down from everywhere. ☔🐟🧀
So we were all the more pleased that Germany’s most important food journalists and influencers fought their way through the wind and weather to the #Rive restaurant and got involved in an unusual food pairing. #Parmesan and fish – they really do go together perfectly! Proof of this was provided by the unusual fusion cuisine of Jeune Restaurateur Felix Dietz, who combined the traditional art of Italian cuisine with the Nordic freshness of fish and #seafood.

The dishes included oysters au gratin with parmesan, chawanmushi with tuna on steamed parmesan cream and sesame cheesecake with parmesan and olive ice cream.

Thanks to the great team at Rive for these incredibly creative dishes and to our customer, the Consorzio del formaggio Parmigiano Reggiano, for always having the courage to break new ground.
